Mr. FOMETEU Joseph is a full university professor in private law.. Currently, he serves at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the University of Ngaoundéré, at the same time as he runs a legal consultancy firm based in Yaoundé (JURIDAF SA Cameroon).

Author of several doctrinal articles, he has written or directed several works, the most emblematic of which are the annotated OAPI Code published by JURISCOPE (France) and the commented collection of the major decisions rendered by the courts of the OAPI area in matters of intellectual property, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (OMI).

He is a specialist in intellectual property law and debt recovery law.. Its status as consultant to several international institutions including the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), the World Intellectual Property Organization (OMI), the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) and the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) allows it to contribute to a large number of national or international legislations, as well as national and international studies and scientific meetings.
