Professor Yvette Rachel Kalieu Elongo is vice-dean in charge of Programming and Monitoring Academic Activities in the Faculty of Legal and Political Science (FSJP) at the University of Dschang. And also a full university professor. Cameroonian born on 13 FEBRUARY 1968 in Douala, economic capital of Cameroon.

She obtained her A4 Baccalaureate at Collège Chevreuil in Douala in 1986, with honors. She enrolled directly in law school at the university. In September 1989, she obtained her degree in private law from the University of Yaoundé. The next year, she obtained her master's degree in business law at the same university. And also in 1991, They are DEA (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in private law.

After Yaoundé, she takes the road to France and continues to the University of Montpellier I. She is writing a new DEA thesis in the specialty “Competition and consumer law” and she is supporting 1993. His dissertation includes 83 pages, and is titled : “The non-contracting consumer”. With the Professor Jean CALAIS-AULOY as thesis director, she presented her doctoral thesis in private law and criminal sciences at this university on 28 october 1995 under the theme : “The conventional guarantees of the credit provider under Cameroonian law”.

Yvette Rachel Kalieu Elongo returns to his native country and in July 1996, she was recruited at the University of Dschang as an assistant. This is to serve within the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences. in mai 1998, she becomes a lecturer. She then decides to take the aggregation exam. In 2003, she succeeds, in Ouagadougou, in the aggregation competition of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (LEGS), in the specialty “Private law and criminal sciences”. This success allowed him to become a lecturer in 2004. After ten years of research in this grade, she then became a full professor at universities. At the end of the December sessions 2014 of the Advisory Committee of University Institutions of Cameroon (CCIU).

Apart from its traditional university functions, she carries out other training activities. She is a permanent trainer at ERSUMA (Regional Higher School of Magistracy) of OHADA (Porto-Novo/Bénin). She is also an expert trainer with the PAJ (Justice Sector Support Program) of the European Union. This program is underway in Cameroon.

From March to April 2013, in Yaounde, she was a trainer for the 19th promotion of senior management agents of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC). His teaching was entitled : Security under OHADA law. She has also been to the European Union and the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie for various projects.. And more, a legal consultant to the interest group.

She was the supervisor of around forty Masters works and six doctoral theses at the University of Dschang and other universities..
